Mimi (with the help of Anna) has been busy making cute, sweet things in the sunny metropolis of Olympia, WA. Here is photographic evidence of our more recent edible creations!

Making gnocchi! It’s all in the thumb…

Finished gnocchi. They turned out pretty well, though a little soft, but it gave us hope for future gnocchi-making ventures!

Anniversary Dinner: Pan seared asparagus and prawns over brown rice, with a lemon-dijon dressing and fresh tomatoes. In other words, delicious!

Vegan Coconut Truffles!

More truffles! These were made for a friend’s going away party, and they were a huge hit.

Blueberry and lemon-marscarpone tiny pies. I hate the word “tartlet.

And last, but by no means least, I present to you:
CHEESECAT.

This cake was made for our house mate’s birthday. He’s made out of a fresh mango and coconut butter cake, with shaved coconut pressed into the frosting (for fur-likeness). Although he’s not the prettiest cat to look at, CheeseCat was both delicious and hilarious, and most importantly, the birthday girl loved him!
